Henley Rowing Club require a High Performance Coach to maintain its status as one of the most successful open clubs in the UK.
In recent years Henley Rowing Club has regularly appeared in finals at Henley Royal Regatta winning in 2003, 2005 and 2007, and providing International representation at Junior level.
The club has excellent rowing facilities and is currently improving its land training facilities with the construction of a new gymnasium.
The High Performance Coach will be responsible for day to day organisation of the senior men’s and women's squads, including coaching individual crews to win at HRR and HWR. In addition they will be responsible for the organisation and management of the club’s coaching structure and development of top level juniors.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate their capability to coach at the required level through previous experience or appropriate nationally recognised qualifications.
The post will particularly suit an ambitious coach who aspires to high performance and winning at high quality events in UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will take on a leadership role with full responsibility for success at this highly visible rowing club on the historic stretch of river. It is likely that the successful candidate will reside within easy travelling distance of Henley.
Remuneration is negotiable based on previous experience and agreed hours.
