  Reading Amateur

Reading Amateur saw the all sections of the club winning medals.

The juniors achieved 4 wins. 

The boys J14 quad of Chris Clarke, Drew Ford, Peter Wagner, Simon Jones and cox Kate Thomas winning on both days beating crews from all the major rowing schools including Radley, Pangbourne and Bedford. 

The girls J13 quad Sarah Bennett, Ellen Anthony, Jenny Arnold, Emily Derrig cox Alice Skinner won the mini regatta at Reading convincingly with determined and gutsy sculling prevailing over style. 

The WJ16 four of Natalie Robinson, Hannah Read, Gemma Johnson, Natalie McIntosh and cox Hannah Boyd were a length down at half way in the final against Kings Worcester but with good long and rhythmical rowing pulled this back and went on to win by over two lengths.

The senior womens quad E Mann, L Leondiades, C Hocking, J Hookey won the WS3 4x comfortably on the Sunday

The senior men put in good performances in all their events and  C Friend, R Coombes, M Jennings, S Brown where rewarded with a win in S1 coxless fours
